we all go through times when we feel stuck, lost and confused. sometimes we feel unable to engage with life around us, daily life becomes harder and harder and we get to a point where we want to give up. perhaps we have witnessed or experienced situations which make scared or even numb, these are times when as hard as it feels to reach out for help, its the right time to seek hep with a therapist.

its common to feel anxious over new decisions, however when the anxiety begins to overwhelm us and influence whether we move forward or not , it can feel quite debilitating., almost like your body and mind are competing with one another and they've both gone into overdrive and you're unable to stop it.

when we come to therapy, we want to give ourselves answers. i want you to think about therapy as a place where we receive the right conditions to begin to safely explore our thoughts and feel secure enough to unravel. if you think of a doctor that provides you stitches or a bandage when we are hurt, providing the body the right environment so the body begins to heal. in a similar way a therapist , provides the right environment to do just that.
